Live from LA: Minnie hits Disneyland & Coachella antics

In this week’s episode we pull back the curtain on how our precious little Minnie-Moo came to be.

Chloe and Ellidy share the entire back story and we chat with almost everyone involved in this utterly life changing procedure. Hear where it all began, with Laura and Chloe walking us step by step through how the idea formed on that fateful day, and what was involved in making it possible.

Then, the team responsible for bringing Minnie to life join us… from the woman who answered the desperate phone call from Chloe and set the wheels in motion… to Dr Andrew Davidson, the obstetrician-gynaecologist infertility specialist responsible for the sperm retrieval and IVF… and Dr Davidson’s wife, Louise – the fertility nurse who held Chumpy’s hand during the procedure and speaks of how she really felt his spirit was present in those moments.

Chloe & Ellidy interview the beautiful Lyndie Irons. Lyndie was married to iconic, 3x world surfing champion, Andy Irons. Their love story was truly one made in heaven, they were surfing’s ‘Royal Couple’. Lyndie travelled on tour with Andy as his wife and manager until he tragically passed away in 2010, while Lyndie was 8 months pregnant with their first son Axel... Fast forward to now, Lyndie’s miracle child Axel is 10 years old.

Let's talk IVF & each girls journey

This week we interview Tahyna MacManus who is an Aussie model, actor, writer, and director. Tahyna battled her own fertility struggles for years and began documenting and producing her own film Misunderstandings Of Miscarriage. Darling Shine and Tahyna normalize conversations around miscarriage, empowered by strength in numbers.

Ellidy's Birth Expectations + What the Hell is a Doula!?

Chloe's younger brother, Cooper of The Good Human Factory joins us this week.

Cooper teaches us the importance of actively taking care of your mental health on a daily scale, not just when we are struggling. He provides us with tools and techniques to do so.

This week Darling, Shine! is working to raise money for Cooper through a Go Fund Me fundraiser.  As teenage suicide and self harm rates continue to rapidly increase, he will continue to raise awareness to young people. Every $10 donation covers the cost of 1 student in coopers workshops. We hope that our fundraising efforts see Cooper visiting new schools across Australia.
