About the episode

Jayden Nikorima is a former teen prodigy and Kiwi Rugby League Player, currently contracted in the NRL to the Melbourne Storm. After debuting for the Roosters at 19, he was sacked a year later for off-field indiscretions including cheating on a drug test, only escaping prison time through a technicality. During his banishment to rugby league wilderness, he battled with depression and suicidal thoughts, before being given a lifeline by professional development coach Glenn Azar in the form of an invitation to the Redcliffe Dolphins pre-season camp. Hosts Jenna Louise and Action Alexa find out why Jayden credits this meeting with changing his life, setting him on the path to becoming a mentor for at-risk teens with the Building Better Humans Project and how he used fitness to come back from the brink.
