About the episode

Ky Furneaux grew up adventuring in the outback until a car accident left her with a fractured spine and doctors telling her she would never be active again. This was a life sentence that Ky wasn't prepared to accept, and her determination and love of nature inspired her to use rock climbing as a tool for recovery. She's since won the World Taurus Stunt Award for the best female stunt performer and successfully navigated a 100-mile hike over the Sierra Nevada with only a pocket knife, amongst many other incredible achievements as an extreme survivalist. Hosts Action Alexa and Jenna Louise chat to Ky to find out how she survived 21 days in the Amazon alone bleeding into piranha-infested waters, how she trained to become an A-list Hollywood stunt performer and what skills we can adopt in our own lives in order to stay calm in the worst situations.
